How do I print my planner?

What does “printable” mean?

My printable planners are delivered as high resolution PDFs in 3 sizes depending on your purchase (Letter Size 8.5″ x 11″) (Half Size 5.5″ x 8.5″) (Personal Size 3.7″ x 6.7″) Each planner is intended for a single user, and can be printed as much as needed at home or at your local print shop.

Are the PDFs “editable”?

All of my printable planners are NOT editable to protect the document property, which means blank fields CANNOT be filled in using Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, or Preview (on a Mac).

How do I get my printable planner?

When you order most planners from my Etsy shop they will deliver your planner in a .zip file within minutes of placing your order.

When you purchase my Daily Life Planner you will receive a single PDF with links in it to the planner downloads on Dropbox.

How do I open the .zip files I downloaded?

You can follow these instructions here for Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1 or you can use a popular program like Winzip or follow the instructions here for OS X Mountain Lion.

After you ‘unzip’ the file you will have access to ALL the PDFs that you can view and print.

How do I download off of Dropbox?

Click on the first link on the screen in Dropbox (example link lifebymom-PL-LS-cover1sideA+B.pdf)

after you click on the link there will be a download button -click ‘direct download’

This will save that page to your computer – you need to do this for each file

Can I print my Planner right from Dropbox?

There is an option to print right from Dropbox however to avoid numerous printing issues that others have encountered I would suggest you DO NOT print directly from there.

How do I view the PDF files?

In order to view your PDF files you will need a program such as Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, or Preview (on a Mac).

What kind of paper do you recommend?

Here are a few specifications to help you select the perfect type.

・Choose a brightness between 108 – 113
・Choose a 32lb. weight paper – I wouldn’t go much higher than 32lb since the extra thickness and weight does tend to weigh down one’s planner – There should be no problem with wrinkling or other printer problems at this weight.
・Choose a 45lb. weight or higher for covers and dividers so that they are more durable and last longer.

How do I print the cover and section dividers?

Each cover and section divider is intended to be printed on a thicker paper/cardstock.  Choose a 45lb. weight or higher for covers and dividers so that they are more durable and last longer.  Planner covers and dividers are designed to be printed double sided – duplex style {front and back} you can follow the same printing instructions for regular pages just use thicker paper.

I am having trouble printing my planner from selected months in the PDF document.

When printing from within the document you must make sure you start your printing on an odd numbered page and end on an even number page (eg. print page: 41-48) That way it will make sure the pages will always print both front and back in the correct order.

I have an idea for a new printable planner!

What if I’m not happy with my purchase?

Full refunds cannot be issued for digital items since they are sent immediately – the only exception is if your files have NOT been downloaded from Etsy.  Otherwise if you are unhappy with your digital purchase, please let me know and we can work on a solution.

Can I use your printable planners for all of my clients or customers?

If your a professional and are wanting to use my printable planners for your clients or customers, you MUST purchase a limited commercial license to use the planner in this way.  An example of this would include fitness trainers wanting to use my Fitness Planner for their clients, etc.

If you would like to use my planner in this way, contact me for more information on the limited commercial license.  Without this license all my planners are intended for a single user and are not to be redistributed digitally or physically.

How do I print my planner?

You can print your PDF as much as you need for a single user at home or at your local print shop.  Monitors display color differently therefor it may not print exactly as shown, depending on your individual printer. Scroll down for instructions for all 4 sizes I offer.
